Program
For the fourth consecutive year, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra Academy will present its own final concert at the end of the season. The Academy comprises 17 young musicians from all instrument groups, all on the cusp of a professional career. Throughout the 2025/2026 season, they will accompany the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, gaining in-depth insights into orchestral operations, receiving regular individual lessons and a variety of workshops, as well as intensive chamber music coaching from the Orchestra's Chief Conductor, Sylvain Cambreling, and various orchestra members. As the crowning achievement of this enriching experience, all Academy members, forming several ensembles for the occasion, will perform a chamber concert with a program whose musical breadth and richness reflect the essence of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and its Academy.
